Endelig: SG nerfed i ny opdatering
I nat udgav Valve en ny opdatering til Counter-Strike, hvor der specielt er fokus på flere våben, som er blevet pillet ved. Heriblandt den ekstremt udskældte SG, som har fået reduceret skudhastigheden markant.
SG har været ekstremt udskældt i den seneste lange tid, fordi mange følte, at den var alt for god i forhold til prisskiltet. Den har derfor fået lidt samme tur som AUG'en fik tilbage i juni, hvor skudhastigheden blev reduceret for den - præcis ligesom med SG. Dette har altså været en efterspurgt ændring, som Valve nu har valgt at efterleve.
Der er dog også blevet pillet ved andre våben, hvilket flere professionelle spillere ikke er helt tilfredse med. Specielt Deaglen er der er utilfredshed omkring, da den er blevet meget mere præcis, når man hopper som mithR demonstrerer herunder:
Udover disse ændringer, så er der også blevet pillet ved AUG'en, M4A1-S er gjort billigere, Tec-9 og Bizon har fået ændringer, mens der også er lavet små justeringer på flere maps - heriblandt Inferno, Mirage og Overpass.
Hvilken betydning disse ændringer får må tiden vise, men det virker til, at flere professionelle spillere allerede har udtrykt utilfredshed med dele af opdateringen på Twitter.

[ WEAPONS ]
– SG553 – Reduced rate of fire and accuracy to bring the weapon’s value to be more in line with other rifles.
– AUG – Improved standing accuracy while unscoped. Slightly reduced scoped accuracy.
– M4A1-S – Price reduced to $2900.
– Deagle – Improved accuracy while jumping, lowering the time to recover accuracy after the player lands.
– Tec-9 – Reduced firing inaccuracy.
– Bizon – Increased armor penetration.
[ MISC ]
– Compressed several textures for less memory consumption.
– Silenced auto-vocalizations by bots during warmup.
– Removed ‘Guardian’ from “Looking to Play’ tab.
– Added a launch option -noubershader. Users on very old Intel hardware can set this launch option to improve their framerate. This option is not recommended otherwise as it is likely to cause stuttering on the overwhelming majority of GPUs.

— Moved from Scrimmage to Competitive mode.
— Fixed water reflection issues.
— Fixed all reports regarding clipping and unintended boost spots.
— Improved performance.
– Inferno:
— Wall by door to A site balcony is bingelibangable.
