KÆMPE OPDATERING: DUST2 VENDER TILBAGE TIL MAP POOLEN
Dust2 er tilbage i den aktive map pool, mens Overpass ryger ud.
Det er den altoverskyggende overskrift på nattens opdatering, som Valve har frigivet til CS2.
Dust2 fik ellers sparket tilbage i november 2022, hvor Anubis blev tilføjet, men nu er det legendariske map altså tilbage, mens Overpass, der har været i map poolen siden december 2013, hvor det blev tilføjet til CS:GO.

Opdateringen af map poolen betyder også, at Dust2 nu kan spilles i Premier inde i CS2, mens man er henvist til "Competitive mode", hvis man føler for en omgang Overpass.
Opdateringen har desuden medført to store ændringer til Inferno. Taget oppe ved toppen af midt er nemlig fjernet, således det minder mere om Inferno i CS:GO, mens det samme er sket i bunden af bananen.
Ændringer til købsmenuen
Nattens opdatering betyder samtidig nye tilføjelser til købsmenuen.
Foruden at have tilføjet næste rundes garanterede pengebeløb oppe i hjørnet, så er det nu også muligt at samle våben, som dine holdkammerater har smidt, op via købsmenuen. Eneste krav er, at våbnet er smidt i købszonen.
Godt nyt til venstrehåndede
Valve har for en gangs skyld også lyttet til de dele communitiet, der siden CS2's frigivelse i september har skreget på at få våbnet over i venstre hånd.
Valve har nemlig tilføjet, at brugere dels kan vælge en foretrukken side at holde våbnet i, mens der ligeledes er åbnet for keybinds til at skifte side, mens man spiller.
Opdateringen har desuden også givet mulighed for at justere zoom på radaren samt tilføjet keybinds, hvis man vil gøre det på farten.

VIEWMODEL
Adjusted viewmodel bob movement
Added "Preferred Viewmodel Left/Right Handedness" setting
Added "Switch Viewmodel Left/Right Hand" key binding (default: US keyboard letter H) to switch hands temporarily during gameplay
Viewmodel position setting and left/right hand state are now networked and visible to first-person spectators.
Deprecated "Couch" viewmodel position setting
HUD
Added "Radar Map Alternate Zoom" setting and "Toggle Radar Zoom" key binding to toggle between zoom levels during gameplay
Added a radar icon for the local player when free cam spectating
Added a grenade line-up reticle that appears shortly after pulling the pin. The timing can be configured for each grenade type independently
Changed weapon Swap text (when pointing at a dropped weapon) to always show the gameplay name of the weapon instead of any customized name it might have.
Added a kill feed icon for "in-air" kills
Added the scoreboard to the ESC menu
Added an icon to indicate bots on the scoreboard
BUY MENU
Added a "Dropped Weapons" panel, which shows (and allows the direct pickup of) weapons that have been dropped by teammates that are standing in the buy zone
Added the minimum amount of money that a player is guaranteed to have in the next round to the buy menu title bar. (thanks, Kadomos)
GAMEPLAY
Increased Zeus movement speed and adjusted the attack cone
Increased Zeus kill reward from $0 to $100 ($50 in Casual)
Increased CZ75-Auto kill reward from $100 to $300 ($150 in Casual)
Reduced XM1014 kill reward from $900 to $600 ($300 in Casual)

Lighting adjustments in Inspect background maps
